South Africa, Namibia and Zambia.

Things get really busy this time of the year. Chariot 2 finished off in Walvis Bay where 15 souls were baptized. The Fredericksburg Church of Christ came over and assisted us once again with the campaign. Read section below. Chariot 2 continued north into Zambia. There were 27 souls baptized there. We were well recieved in Kalomo, Namiyanga Mission and Katungunya. Chariot 1 has been working in Soshanguve and Mafikeng. Chariot 1 leaves for Venda next week and Chariot 2 crosses into Malawi. Hundreds will, Lord willing, be baptized into Christ in the next 2 months. Malawi and Venda work extremely hard when using the Chariots. Our short term Bible schools are in and all students will be doing practical in Venda from the 2nd June to the 13 June. We will also have 10 US campaigners working with us. Thanks to Mike Knappier.
Above shows students being taught in Pretoria at our GCM short term bible school.

Above are the students attending our GCM Venda short term bible school, called Vhemba Bible School and overseen by the elders at the Tshidimbini Church.
The Venda students outside the sleeping quarters. This school was completed in 2009.
Above shows the Venda brethren promoting the Bible School among the Churches of Christ.
Brother Aleck working on Chariot 2 in Namibia and Zambia. Now on their way to Malawi. Amen

Above shows Chariot 1 in Pretoria. It then moved onto Mafikeng. It is now heading for some hard work in Venda. I will join this Chariot with 10 campaigners from the 2nd June to the 13th June. It is hard work, but really rewarding and good fun. We are going to be working on the Chariot, having a youth rally, as well as doing some building on the new Church building. We also will be promoting our GCM office in the town centre. Read about it next month. Mike Knappier will do our blog report.
Now who do we have here? Must be my children and grandchildren. Yes, its Bongani Mabena who is like a son to me. Bongani has a wife Sibongile(Brenda) and two good looking sons Kablelo(Praise) and Qiniso(Luck). Bongani has worked Chariot 1 for many years now. He is a wonderful christian man and I know many of you reading this, know him. Bongani was a Seventh Day Adventist who studied through World Bible School. We followed up on him and sent him to our Numbi Bible School in the nineties There he was baptized and the rest is all history. Bongani is studying through Nations University and when not on the Chariot, he teaches at the Pretoria short term school. He has the greatest attitude around and will go so far if he continues. God bless you brother and look after your lovely family.
Bogani baptizing a soul in a portable baptisty. Sometimes you just got to be creative.
Talking about being creative. Above shows brother Mike in Pretoria helping Lazarus regarding our PA Systems. It is costing us way too much to keep our sound systems going on the Chariots. Brother Mike works with this kind of thing and has taken it upon himself to advice us and supply us with the best systems for our meetings into Africa.
ORPHANS
Above shows the first couple of orphans taken in by a brother and sister in George. We are encouraging our offices and co-workers to get more involved in helping the little ones. We, as a ministry, do not want to start a orphanage, but can all take an orphan in and make our offices and congregations more in tune with what God wants us to do. James calls it "pure religion" We got to do good with what we have or it does no good for us. Our social welfare system is continuously looking for "safe houses" as they call them. Places where abused children can be looked after and protected. Well done Jackson and Gladys for leading the way. Please pray that GCM will be known for helping the little ones. We do good, but can do so much more.
Lazarus and Busi in Pretoria visiting a orphanage giving some handouts and encouraging the little one spiritually as well as the staff. Well done Laz and Busiswe.
Its love, Its love, Its love that make the world go round. Its love, Its love....
Jesus loves the little children. All the children of the world. Red and yellow black and white they are precious in His sight. Yes, Jesus loves the little children.
Talking about little children. Above shows my wife Ria dishing up for the little children on a day out in Plett. These are my little ones I preach to and encourage every Sunday when home. I live in an area where the Church of Christ was not known. We now have a building and will start our own short term school come January 2011.
A fun day. cannot be a fun day without Candie and the likes. My biggest dream is to see those little ones one day all educated with a degree and knowing Christ.
Gladman and Edwin working with the little ones on the beach. Gladman and Edwin both went to our short term school in Pretoria. They have blossomed since graduating. Remember I was alone after starting the Church here. Now I have these men preaching, teaching and doing what they might not have been doing, if it was not for the short term school. Next year we will have our own school here in the Cape.
