Above shows the 2 Gospel Chariots that are now in the process of being refurbished.
As you can see the bodies have been removed and are now standing at the body builders.
This is Chariot 2 with no body on it. Waiting for some attention. This is the 4x4 Chariot that travels north into Namibia, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Mozambique.
Above shows the new chassis being put on Chariot 2.
Here we have Chariot 1 with the new body being assembled. The preaching stage will slide out from underneath the body this time round. We have also snipped a little off the tail
All systems go with the body builders, doing the finishing touches on the doors and side compartments. The chariot will now go into the spray shop and get a complete spray job. Then it will be the sign writing, advertizing God's word.
NEW GOSPEL CHARIOT
Above shows the Mercedes Benz Atego truck we are trying to purchase for Ghana. However, this has not happened yet due to cross border problems at this time. We are still waiting on the dealership in Ghana to come back to us regarding the vehicle being bought in Ghana ordered in Germany and shipped to South Africa first, for a body to be put on. Then shipped to Ghana with no import/export problems in South Africa. We know this can be done, but it has been a little difficult getting the dealership in Ghana on board. We should get an answer from Germany soon.
2011 GOAL. Thank you Lord.
Remember our 2011 goal was to establish an evangelistic Christian Book Store in Atteridgeville. GCM managed to assist with the refurbishing of a building in front of the Atteridgeville Church of Christ. We managed to do that and then shipped a container of christian books and shelves. It is all a reality now. Have a look at the completed evangelistic outreach center in Atteridgeville under the eldership of that congregation. We pray that this work touches many, many lives.
Above shows the shelves and books all packed out for people to now come in and interact with this ministry and Church of Christ evangelists. The leaders have big dreams. All GCM has done, was asked them to take a ministry we don't have the time to run. They have tremendous potential and will do a better job than us. We have to learn to delegate. It is not how much one does, but how much one encourages others to do. Team work is dream work.
PLETTENBERG BAY
Above shows our short term school in the Cape that needed a bit of a repair. As you can see the toilet is outside the back door. We managed to break it down and convert it into an in-house toilet with shower. There is always repairs and maintenance needed at the different offices and schools. It is a costly exercise, but nothing compared to, if one had to rent/hire a facility.
VENDA
School will start in Venda come month-end. Above shows brother Malindi standing in the kitchen with new burglar proofing on the windows. Crime and theft is prevalent in South Africa. It is sad at times when you build up and others break down and steal the Lord's possessions. Well done Venda. Keep on looking after what is the Lords.
Above shows burglar proofing also on the student rooms.

And then there is the finishing touches in the kitchen. Remember this school was build some 3 years ago and it is still going and great things are happening. They are now busy converting a classroom into a library for the school. We are hoping to get books from the US for all our short term schools. I will be campaigning in Venda during the first week in July, but also at the lectureship in April. It is going to be GREAT......Well done Venda.
