FUNK FAMILY

Above shows the Funk family. We have been blessed. From the left you see Quinton, Wayne, Chantal and Hilton. They are our 4 children. Then in the middle you have our lovely daughters- inlaw, Vicki with Jemmica and Nicole, Wayne's wife. In front you got Ria and I. As you can see we too are getting older. We are all in the Lord and we need to thank you brethren in the USA for sending missionaries this way. Tex Williams taught the man who taught me. Amen.

Quinton, Vicki and Jemmica

Above is Quinton, Vicki and our little Jemmica. Quinton and Vicki work with us at GCM. They are wonderful co-workers and have helped us take this work to where it is today. They both met at the Bible School in South Africa. Quinton then went on to study at Sunset and returned to marry Vicki. Today they have blessed us with our first little grandbaby. Vicki heads up the World Bible School program. She also works with all the offices and the grading that takes place there. This all culminates into one BIG DATA BASE with thousands of student names. She then sends out invitations for the different seminars in different areas.

Wayne and Nicole

Above shows Wayne and Nicole. As you can see Wayne is trying to show us something. Yes its our next grand baby due early June. Wayne studied Bible in South Africa and then went onto Sunset. He then did some mission work in Estonia. After that he returned and worked with GCM for two years. After that he returned to the USA and studied business and finance. He returned to South Africa and is working as an accountant in Cape Town. Wayne met Nicole at the Bellville Church of Christ. They got married in 2006 and still live in Cape Town. They are a lovely couple full of joy and laughter. We cannot wait for the baby. Amen

Above shows our younger children. Chantal and Hilton. Chantal is finishing her masters degree in psychology in December. She would love to continue studying for a PHD, but would have to find a scholarship. Hilton is studying business and should finish December 2009. He plays on the golf team at the University. His dream is to play golf one day. This photo was taken in December when they came home to be with us. We are a close family and love each other very much. We really miss our children and cannot wait for the day when we can all be together again.
