APRIL 2011

Hard to believe that it is almost May. Time is surely passing us by. Can you see why it is so important to be in Christ. As scripture says: life is like a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.. We have to stay focused and serve God. On the work front God is blessing us all as a team. There have been souls saved in Plett, Pretoria, Durban, Namibia, Free State and other areas as well. God surely does give the increase. There is so much good that is happening because of good people having God's ways in their hearts. Please pray for the team as we try our best to reach out.
BIBLE SCHOOLS
Above shows the Pretoria short term Bible School. Brother Dimpo teaching. This is so important to teach others to teach others. 2 Tim 2:2.
Above shows the short term Bible School in Plettenberg Bay. We have 12 students and it is the first semester. Remember this was a goal, and now it is a reality. Gladman, Zonke and myself teach.

Another photo of the Pretoria school with its new tables and painted walls. The Sunday school teachers got hold of some paint and turned it into a day care center. Talk about talent!
Above shows the school in Venda. God is blessing us as we all work together and train young men and woman up. Thank you God for our short term schools. We are blessed.

ATTERIDGEVILLE

Above shows our 2011 goal of starting a study room and bookstore at the Atteridgeville Church of Christ. This is an exciting project. We are not going to run it. All we are doing, is asking mature brethren to run with a project that will reach many souls for Jesus. These leaders will also help us get tons of literature into the hands of brethren. This way Gods Church will GROW. All we are doing, is help initiate it. Please pray for this project and these leaders.

Above shows the old gas station that is now being refurbished. Once completed it will look like a new building. Phase one is to do the outside of the building and then phase 2 will be to refurbish the inside of the building. The last phase of the project will be to bring a container full of literature from the USA. This building is on a very busy road in Atteridgeville. Location, Location, Location
This is the largest congregation in the Pretoria area. We are honored to work with them and assist them in this way. In the background you can see a new Church Building going up. This is being funded by the members of the congregation. It will seat around 800 on a Sunday. All we are doing, is outsourcing, delegating some of the ministries we don't have the manpower to do. One might say it is good leadership: Delegating. Not competing, but completing.

DOWNTOWN PRETORIA

Above shows the GCM booth with Lazarus and Dimpo. In a combined effort GCM with students and members of the Downtown congregation got together to reach out at the University of Technology in Pretoria. Great things are happening in Pretoria due to these efforts.
Above shows one of the banners promoting the innercity congregation.
Encouraging the Young University Students to not forget God.
It surely did create interest among the young people
Above shows some of the men attending a Church planting weekend in Atteridgeville.

VENDA

Above shows the new kitchen at the Vhembe Bible School. Remember this is the new school that was established in 2009. It is reaching out to so many in the north of South Africa. Short term school is in and the kitchen upgraded with cupboards, fridge and stove. Before this, it was African style.

Some of the students that arrived for the 2011 semester.

DURBAN

Above shows the Durban office having a Saturday seminar. Paulus and Leslie run this office and teach many souls.

PLETTENBERG BAY

Above shows my wife, Ria, teaching the young girls in Sunday School. Our young ones have grown to where we don't have enough classroom space. We have 3 classes taking place in one class.
These are the younger ones. There was no congregation in Plett and today we got a wonderful family of believers. We also have our short term school. God is blessing us. This is our home congregation in the township of Plett. We really enjoy our church family.
This is Ria's Sunday School class. Young girls opening Gods word and getting direction from God.
The younger ones doing some activity during Sunday school hour.
This picture tells it all. Precious,
Above shows the little ones at the beach swimming. It was a wonderful day for all.

CHARIOTS

Above shows Chariot 1 working in the Free State having opens airs as well as putting the tent up. There were over 20 souls baptized. Brother Pule and Bongani got to visit with WBS students as well. The Free State is growing by the grace of God.

Chariot 2 is in the country of Namibia and thousands of lessons have been distributed, as well, many schools visited, handing out bible lessons. I will join this Chariot in Tsumeb on the easter weekend. All the congregations are getting together to encourage unity.
Above shows those coming forward for prayers and baptism. Below shows many of the souls that came forward to put Christ on. The wonderful thing about GCM is that souls are not only baptized, but they are encouraged to go to the short term schools as well. Please pray that God continues to give the increase and we give HIM the Glory.
