LECTURSHIP AND GRADUATION

God so wants to work through us and how encouraging it is when one sees people opening up to His calling. This last month was really touching as I traveled to our African lectureship in Johannesburg and then onto Durban and returned for our graduation in Pretoria. God is working through GCM and one amazing TEAM.

Above shows myself encouraging students and lecturers at the graduation. These are all 2009 students who graduated from our Nations University program.

Above shows students with the lecturers. Brothers Machona, Lazarus, Tebogo and Immanuel.

Some of the students enjoying the moment. O how God calls people...Amen

Above shows Busi, Lazarus's wife, who graduated as well. Well done, Busi

Above shows Tebogo and Lazarus handing out the certificates from Nations. The student on the right is Gladman from Plettenberg Bay who is one of my Timothy's here in the Cape. We are training him up to help with our own short term school in my area.

Even young ladies are graduating and that is wonderful to see.

Above shows brother Nedzarada, a long time Christian from Venda, who is very mature and so involved in Gods work. Even he graduated. What an example of one who knows so much yet feels he needs to know more. Well done brother, we are so proud of you.

It really was a wonderful occasion with us filling the Downtown building with visitors and students.

After the graduation it was time to meet, eat and greet. Wonderful fellowship.
Lectureship's

Above shows thousands of Christians that attended the annual lectureship in Johannesburg

Above shows the men all getting together during one of the men's panels.

Gospel Chariot Missions was there with their display board and mission team coordinators.

Above shows Lazarus and Dimpo my closest co workers. They are God sent. Thanks guys.

Some of the activity around the Gospel Chariot booth and table

How can we help you sir. Would you like to study with Nations University.

Its not how much we do, but how much we encourage others to do. We network and help others with our Chariots. We assist and train people up at our short term schools. We link the working class christian up with Nations University where they can work full time, but also study Gods word on their own. We also do the Church of Christ directory and the lectureship is a great time to get brethren to fill in all their congregation details.
Durban

Above shows the Gospel Chariot Missions office in Downtown Durban. There is the office during the week and a Church of Christ that meets on Sundays. We are hoping on upgrading this office next year to speed up evangelism and take advantage of the exciting developments in the Big City.

Above shows brother Paulus and brother Leslie who head up the GCM office. They do all the grading of lessons and are doing a fantastic job with WBS follow up. They have one of the most successful Saturday mini seminar get-togethers that I have ever seen. They really keep in contact with all their current students by offering these studies on Saturdays. Well done guys.

Above shows the area where I live and some souls being baptised. We have a brother Esau who is one of the Christians who has a body shop. He has now baptized almost all his employees.

A soul being baptized on Chariot 2 whilst working in the Eastern Cape. This Gospel Chariot has now headed north and has crossed over into Namibia. I leave Friday to work with them for a week with campaigners from Fredericksburg.

Lazarus on Chariot 1 baptizing a soul in the Guateng area near Pretoria. This Chariot is working the Kwandabele area at this time

Above shows Chariot 2 working in the Port Elizabeth area. We were so well received and have great plans for further evangelization in that area every year.

Above shows some who came forward to be baptized during our campaign in the area.

Those who responded were baptized in the baptistery at the local congregation

The Chariots do so much good by encouraging young struggling congregations. It gets them excited about evangelism, but also opens so many doors for them to work on after we leave.

After Chariot 2 finished in PE. It stopped off in Plett on its way to Namibia for a final bit of repair. Above shows Sebelo who was baptzsed after working on the Chariot. We have been praying for him for many years. He is now a christian...Amen
